'Jive''Jive'Jive' was originally started 13 years ago by founder members of Reading Rock'n'Roll Club 'The 3R's'and has always been an outstanding success. Following the death of 'The 3R's' President,Bill Cotterell in January 2005, Willie & Varick Jeffrey (Hemsby) were asked to join the team to ensure the continuing success of the event, which they did. Now in 2008 a new lease of life is being given to it with the help of Kav Kavanagh and Suzy Q at the helm taking over the management from Willie & Varick and 'The 3R's'.We already have a superb line-up for this years event in May. We had to make a decision about whether to cancel this year altogether or to scale it down to a 2 day event, we chose the latter.
